The Minister of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI) Hon. Maurice Lake joined seniors on Thursday in Philipsburg who came out for a stroll organized by the Home Away From Home Taking Care of the Golden Age Foundation in collaboration with the St. Maarten Vocational Training School.
This is the second annual stroll that has been organized for senior citizens.
"I would like to commend the foundation and vocational training school for their initiative in taking out our seniors on a stroll through the capital of the country. They had a great time and we must always remember our senior citizens and take care of them," Minister Hon. Maurice Lake said on Thursday.
