The House of Parliament will meet on September 09 in a public plenary session with respect to the closing of the 2012-2013 parliamentary year.
A solemn session of the House will be held on September 10 leading to the opening of the 2013-2014 parliamentary year by the President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell. His Excellency Governor Eugene Holiday will present the Government’s plan of action for the new sitting of the House.
The closing of the parliamentary year will take place on Monday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg while the opening session for the new parliamentary year will be on Tuesday at 10.00am.
Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament closing session on Monday. The Tuesday session will be for invited guests, dignitaries, heads of Government Ministries, judicial branch and members of the High Councils of State.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
