After two weeks of registration, the National Institute of Professional Advancement (NIPA) registered 377 persons.
Persons in the age between 16 and 61 have filled out registration forms with the assistance of staff of the Division of Educational Innovation (DEI). The NIPA plans to start courses and programs for youngsters and adults during day time and evenings, hence enhancing career opportunities for St. Maarten’s population.
Based on registrant’s interest and needs in the local labor market, course selections will be made and registrants and the general public will be informed in due time.
Persons who missed the first registration round will have the opportunity to still register in the next weeks. The exact dates on next registration opportunities will be announced.
