PhotoNature Foundation Snorkel Club on the Marine Park Patrol Vessel/ During Diving Lessons
The St. Maarten Nature Foundation Snorkel Club kicked recently with an introductory session of approximately fifteen kids at the Nature Foundation offices in Cole Bay. The Foundation holds its yearly after school activity/ vacation summer camp program for children ages eight to twelve were children are exposed to the ocean and marine environments. Children are thought how to Snorkel, given an introduction to Scuba Diving, given Information about marine life and are though basic seamanship skills. The program runs for ten lessons and was made possible through the assistance of Isle de Sol/ IGY Marinas, the Scuba Shop, Island Water World and TJ Maxx. This year the Nature Foundation also hosted various adults as part of their Snorkel Club Program.
