Just before the closing of the Toastmasters’ year the Soualiga Corporate Toastmasters Club inducted three new members. The three civil servants who recently joined this international public speaking organization are Brenda Maynard, Shannon Richardson and Sanjanna Mannek. During the induction ceremony they all pledged to support the club and to adhere to the guidelines of the Toastmasters’ educational program.
With the recent inductions and the achievement of the Advanced Communicator Bronze award by Toastmaster Denise Vijber, the Soualiga Corporate Toastmasters Club is well on its way to earn a Distinguished ribbon, which is part of the recognition program for high-performing clubs.
This Toastmasters’ year will officially close with the annual Installation Ceremony for Area Governors and Club Officers. This event will be held on Saturday June 29th at the Chamber of Commerce in Concordia and will start at 7 pm, sater the official ceremony DJ Patrice will provide musical entertainment. Toastmasters and non-members are cordially invited to attend. Non-members pay $5.
