Deadline to register is April 30
Collective Prevention Services (CPS), a department of the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour, is inviting Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), professional and amateur photographers and videographers to participate in a Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) ProPAN Photography and Video Contest, which will recognize the best images illustrating complementary feeding of children six to 24 months of age in the Americas.
Registration and submitting of photographs and video will be done online and the deadline is April 30 by 6.00pm (Washington, D.C., USA time).
ProPAN stands for Process for the Promotion of Child Feeding, is a tool developed to provide Ministries of Public Health, NGOs, and international organizations with a tool to develop, implement, and evaluate interventions and program to improve infant and young child diet and feeding.
The theme of the contest is "Complementary Feeding." For each section photography and video, the following prizes will be awarded, 1st US$2000, 2nd US$1000 and 3rd prize US$500. A certificate will also be issued at the country level.
Each participant can submit up to five (5) photographs; one (1) video and each video should last no more than two (2) minutes.
