The Korps Politie Sint Maarten (KPSM) is asking members of the public who have recently
reported an outboard motor stolen to come forward.
During a recent search conducted by KPSM, an outboard motor was confiscated. The police
are currently seeking to identify its rightful owner.
Anyone who believes that this outboard motor may belong to them is asked to visit the
KPSM Police Station in Philipsburg and provide information and/or documentation proving
ownership.
Persons coming forward are encouraged to bring their police report, purchase documents,
photographs, serial number, or any other information that can assist in confirming
ownership.
The recovery of this outboard motor is also part of KPSM’s ongoing efforts to clean up and
organize the area at the rear of the Police Station in Philipsburg. With Sint Maarten
approaching the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season, KPSM is taking steps to remove
unnecessary items and reduce potential hazards around the police station.
As part of this cleanup initiative, approximately 60 scooters were removed and disposed of
last week. KPSM will continue this process in the coming days to ensure that the area is
kept safe, clean, and better prepared in the event of severe weather.
KPSM urges anyone who may recognize the outboard motor pictured in this notice to
contact the police and assist in returning the property to its rightful owner.
