The Minister of Finance, the Honourable Perry Geerlings, met with Mr Quincy Lont, Senior Tax Manager at Meijburg & Co Caribbean and the Practice Leader of the Sint Maarten office, who officially presented the 2018 tax codes of Sint Maarten, as well as the brand-new tax application to the Minister.
The tax application provides digital access to the country’s comprehensive and up to date tax legislation and is available in the App Store. Minister Geerlings and Mr Lont also discussed the impact recent international tax developments would have on tax legislation in Sint Maarten.
