One man was arrested as a suspect in an attempted break-in Cole Bay on Sunday April 16th at approximately 12.20 a.m. A police patrol after receiving information of an ongoing break in at Money 4 Gold in Cole Bay immediately went on the scene to investigate what was going on. On the scene the patrol saw two unknown men at the rear of the building. The building was surrounded by the patrol and two off duty officers who came to assist however one of the men took off running and jumped over a nearby fence and disappeared in the darkness. The other suspect remained on the scene and did not resist his arrest. On the scene the investigating officers noticed that the suspects attempted to gain access into the building by removing the metal bars to a door at the rear of the building. The arrested suspect remains in custody for further investigation.
