The facilitator for the training was Mr. Glen Yeung of SXM Hospitality Educational Institute, located at Backstreet 172, Philipsburg.
The workshop focused on seven main points in achieving good customer service, which were Authenticity, Intuition Empathy, Champion, Delight, Delivery, and Initiative. The staff got the opportunity to discuss various issues that they are confronted with on a daily basis and discussed possible solutions.
The St. Maarten Tourist Bureau will continue its efforts in upgrading the staff in areas where needed.
