Rotarian Ramesh Manek was awarded Rotarian of the year by his club, The Rotary Club of St. Maarten Mid Isle. Rotarian Ramesh Manek has received recognition from the district on his achievement in the fight to end polio. Rotary International has been instrumental in eradicating polio in all but three countries worldwide and continues to raise funds towards the goal of total eradication from the world. “We Are This Close” is the campaign logo for eradicating polio.
