Persons attending the meetings were afforded the opportunity to ask questions. On all three islands Senior police officers as well as newcomers to the Police Force were present during these presentations and shared their personal experiences with the participants. The Police stressed to those attending the meeting that: “A career in the Police Force is not something you take lightly. You will be responsible for the safety and livability of your own surroundings but will also face situations where you will have to protect your colleagues”.
