Urges Teammates and SXMNBA League to Continue on in His Memory
The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams Expressed her sincerest condolences to the family, friends and teammates of Jean "Jimmy" Touze who passed away tragically at the opening of the SXMNBA Tournament on Sunday. Touze passed away while warming up with his team the Cay Hill Blazers before they were set to play the second exhibition match of the day.

"I was very saddened to learn of the passing away of Jean yesterday at an event where I was present in order to attend the opening of the newly established SXMNBA League," commented the Prime Minister. "Firstly to the Friends and Family of Jean I would like to extend my most heartfelt condolences and I would like to ensure that you know that you are in my thoughts. I would also like to wish Jimmy’s Teammates much strength and courage during what must be a very difficult time for them. However I would like to encourage you all, in memory of your loved one, friend and teammate to continue playing the sport that you love and continue with the SXMNBA," urged Prime Minister Wescot-Williams
