The Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS) is organizing a statistics training on November 25th and 26th in Sint-Eustatius (participants from Sint-Eustatius and Saba) and on November 28th and 29th on Bonaire. This training is conducted by trainers from the Netherlands who are specifically in charge of teaching methodology and data collection. This allows the CBS to meet the wishes and needs as identified by various stakeholders during the consultation in April.
The participants in the training are from the National Government, the public entity and the private sector.
Topics that will be discussed are:
· The statistical process
· Questionnaire design and validation
· Sampling design
· Data collection
· Data editing and non-response
· Field data analysis and presentation data results
