A closed door Central Committee session of the House of Parliament is scheduled for November 06 regarding the National Security Service (VDSM) along with two other agenda points.
The closed door session is set for Wednesday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The first agenda point is a discussion with the Prime Minister/Minister of General Affairs on recent developments related to the VDSM including the suspension of the Head of the agency James Richardson.
This meeting was requested by the National Alliance (NA) faction in parliament, namely Member of Parliament Hon. William Marlin, MP Hon. Dr. Lloyd Richardson, and MP Hon. Hyacinth Richardson.
The second agenda point is a proposal from the Kingdom Government to appoint Queen Maxima as queen regent to Princess Amalia in the even that King Willem-Alexander is unable to carry out his duties and the princess is not yet eighteen years old.
The proposal requires the approval of all three parliaments of the Kingdom.
The third agenda point is an invitation for the President of Parliament to be present for the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Kingdom.
