On Tuesday October 8th at approximately 12.35 p.m. three men were arrested by police in the vicinity of the border at Oyster Bay. These men were first seen by a patrol driving in a gray Kia Picanto with a French license plate in the Sucker garden area.
When the patrol attempted to stop the vehicle in question they took at very high speed. The vehicle in question was chased by the patrol but the occupants succeeded in getting away. Shortly after a second police patrol saw the suspect vehicle and suspects a they crossed the border from Coralita to Oyster Bay. The patrol attempted to stop the vehicle again however the driver refused to stop and increased speed in order get away again. The patrol was forced to block the vehicle and repeatedly ordered the suspect driver and other suspects to exit the vehicle. All suspects refused to exit the vehicle and continued behaving in a very suspicious way in the vehicle. A warning shot was fired in order to force one of the suspects who came out of the car with both hands in his pockets and refused to so after being ordered several times to do so. All three suspects were arrested on the scene and during a search several bullets were found. The suspects were taken to the Police Head quarters where they were handed over to the Detective Department for further investigation.
