They strutted their impressive stuff in front of five keen-eyed judges and at the end of the day 15 talented St. Maarten youth were named to go through to the finals of the TelCell/Xtratight "Breakthrough" talent search on September 28.
According to organizers, Saturday’s auditions at the Cultural Center, Backstreet, went without a hitch, with the judges naming the finalists one hour earlier than planned.

Xtratight Entertainment Production owner, "Mr. Rude" said an equally impressive number of performers, from the youngest, at the age of 10 to the oldest at the age of 18, turned out on the day to audition for the finals and the chance to win some super prizes and a recording/video production contract.
"We listened to all of their stuff and honestly, there were some jaw-dropping moments when it came to the vocals and the dance routines," said the production company owner.
He joined TelEm Group’s Breakthrough show coordinator, Angel Richardson in thanking the judges for their time and expertise and also the performers themselves for turning up on time and giving their best.
"People will be really impressed with the collection of talent we have going through to the finals, so congratulations to all the finalists who we will see again on September 28 for a knockout show," added Mr. Rude.
