Based on information reaching the police department that at an apartment building located on Welfare road illegal drug activities were going taking place, a raid and search of two apartments were conducted by police on Sunday August 4th at approximately 01.40 a.m.
During this raid two persons were arrested because of their illegal status on the island and three for the possession of illegal drugs. During the search over U.S. 2300, – in cash, 110,- Euros, 75 Guilders, was found. Two bricks of compacted marihuana, 6 XTC pills, 14 small plastic bags containing an amount of hashish. The money and drugs were confiscated for further investigation. Alls suspects also remain in custody for further investigation.
