The Central Committee of Parliament meeting that was scheduled for June 12 with the Board of Financial Supervision (CFT) has been cancelled.
The parliamentary secretariat was informed by the CFT that they had to cancel the meeting with the Central Committee until further notice.
The Central Committee was scheduled for Wednesday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg in an in camera session.
Members of Parliament (MPs) were to discuss with the CFT the financial management of the country. MPs were also to receive a presentation with respect to the findings documented in the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Report which is an inventory of the financial management of the country.
