A public plenary session of parliament regarding the appointment of members of the Monument Council is set for March 22.
The plenary session of parliament will meet on Friday, March 22 at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The first agenda point is incoming documents followed by the second agenda point of the proposal to name the Chair person and members of the Monument Council.
Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Hon. Silveria Jacobs will be present for the session.
A Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Friday, afternoon at 2.00pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament.
A presentation will be made by the Sint Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF). The meeting was requested by SCDF President Michael Granger dated January 21, 2013.
