A man with initials M.M. was arrested by police on Friday August 24th at a proximately 06.40 p.m. in the vicinity of Flourish Supermarket on the A.Th. Illidge road. The arrest was made when a patrol of the Zero Tolerance team investigated the strong scent of marihuana coming from the direction of the supermarket. The patrol saw the suspect close to the supermarket and during the search of the suspect they found 8 small plastic bags each containing an amount marihuana. The plastic bags with and contents were confiscated. The suspect was taken to the police headquarters in Philipsburg and handed over to the Narcotic Department for further investigation.
