Dance Theatre of St. Maarten is the latest recipient of a donation made by Seven Seas Water (St. Maarten).
The donation of 1500 U.S. dollars was recently made to the group by Seven Seas Water Managing Director, Franklyn Richards.
Accepting the donation were Susha Hien and Indira Marlin, directors of Dance Theatre of St. Maarten, who were joined by many of her dance students, for the occasion.
Richards has expressed great satisfaction at being able to support yet another group in the community. He noted that Seven Seas Water continues to believe in its role as good corporate citizen and that as such it always welcomes opportunities to assist, particularly, youth development in St. Maarten.
"Assisting our youth in education, sports, arts and culture is an important element in nation-building and Seven Seas Water embraces its role towards realizing this goal", noted Richards.
"Many of the students of Dance Theatre of St. Maarten have already demonstrated their skills in singing and acting – underlining their commitment to arts. With this donation, Seven Seas recognizes their talent, dedication, and hard work" stated the Seven Seas Water director.
