The Ministry of VROMI, Department of new Projects Development and Planning on behalf of the Government of St. Maarten is hereby informing the general public that:
L.B. SCOTT ROAD will be partially closed in connection with placement of ROAD MARKINGS;
Road Marking works will be executed in four segments of the L.B. Scott Road; with a total length of approximately 1,300 m. This section includes the road section from the St. Peters Sol Gas Station to the intersection at Cake House Supermarket;
CLOSURE AND DURATION
Segment 1 of the Road Marking works will take place on the road section starting from St. Peters Sol Gas Station to the Arbutus Road/L.B. Scott Road intersection. This segment will be closed on Thursday May 31st 2012 from 10:00 p.m. to Friday June 1st 2012 at 4:00 a.m.
Segment 2 of the Road Marking works will take place on the road section starting from the Arbutus Road/L.B. Scott Road intersection to the Flamboyant Road/ L.B. Scott Road intersection. This segment will be closed on Friday June 1st 2012 from 10:00 p.m. to Saturday, June 2nd 2012 at 4:00 a.m.
Segment 3 of the Road Marking works will take place on the road section starting from the Flamboyant Road/ L.B. Scott Road intersection to the Gladiola Road/L.B Scott Road intersection. This segment will be closed on Saturday, June 2nd 2012 from 10:00 p.m. to Sunday, June 3rd 2012 at 4:00 a.m.
Segment 4 of the Road Marking works will take place on the road section starting from the Gladiola Road/L.B Scott Road intersection to the intersection at Cake House Supermarket. This segment will be closed on from Sunday 3rd 2012 at 10:00 p.m. to Monday, June 4th 2012 at 4:00 a.m.
Through traffic exiting the Cul-de Sac, will be detoured as indicated in the maps included with this public notice;
Through traffic entering the Cul-de-Sac will have unhindered access to the L.B. Scott Road;
The Ministry of VROMI, Department of new Projects Development and Planning on behalf of the Government of St. Maarten is asking all motorists to pay keen attention to the traffic signs and detour routes for the duration of the works to ensure a smooth and safe transition while the Road Marking L.B. Scott Road is being executed. Furthermore, the Government of St. Maarten asks for your patience and understanding for the inconvenience that this will cause.
