TelEm Group’s mobile provider TelCell is now offering top-up services via Windward Island Bank’s Easy Charge Service.
The new service was announced this week and now TelCell mobile customers only have to register once with WIB to be able to recharge their mobile phones 24/7 and from any location.
"The registration takes place from any WIB Bankomatiko (ATM) outlet," said TelEm Group Manager, Marketing & Sales, Mrs. Carmen Lake-Reyes.
She said mobile customers only have to follow a few simple steps in order to register their personal mobile phone information after which they will receive a Passcode. Then can recharge their mobile phones any time they like.
"The new service is very convenient. Our mobile customers will now have the additional option of recharging their mobile phones without having to buy a prepaid card or without having to visit a top-up location," said Mrs. Lake-Reyes.
She thanked The Windward Islands Bank for assisting TelEm Group in offering the new service to customers through the bank’s Easy Charge service.
Mrs. Lake-Reyes said normal debit card rules apply to the new service, therefore Easy Charge top up requests will only be completed once there are sufficient funds in the customer’s WIB account.
"We are asking customers to keep their Passcode secure and to treat the Passcode in the same way they would treat their credit or debit card Pin Code," continued the Manager, Marketing and Sales.
Information about the new service is available from any WIB Customer Service Officer or from any TelEm Group Customer Care Representative.
Customers can also try the service themselves by visiting any WIB Bankomatiko and by following these simple steps:
Choose Phone Recharge from the main option screen
Choose SMS Registration
Choose your Telephone Service Provider
Enter your cellular telephone number
Choose if you would like to recharge other phones
You will then receive a registration receipt from the Bankomatiko
Once the process has been completed, customers will receive a SMS message confirming registration. In this message the customer’s SMS Passcode will be delivered. This Passcode is needed to send all recharge requests and should be kept in a safe place.
