The WICLU held its weekly press conferences at the WIFOL Building on Thursday December 8th,2011.
The conference was in connection with the different meetings that were held between the WICLU and Government and also various topics.Different issues were disscussed such as What’s Happening on the Island, Social Issues, Economic Issues, Political Issues, The Workers and Trade Unions on the Island.
They also gave a brief update on the previous meeting they had with government dealing with the Short Term Contracts, Simpsonbay Resort, Cost of Living, General Economy that is Globally and on St.Maarten and how to deal with it also the Practises of Some of the Business on St.Maarten on how they operate.
