St. Maarten Cable TV today announces yet another upgrade to all of the services provided by the cable TV system. In order to improve the reliability and quality of service for CableNet subscribers, it is necessary to change existing equipment. Because of this change, subscribers will experience intermittent service interruptions beginning on Thursday, December 8, 2011 and concluding on Thursday, December 15, 2011.
CableNet technicians do not anticipate a complete outage during this process and every effort will be made to complete the project prior to the deadline. Subscribers who experience prolonged high-speed internet service outages during this period should contact CableNet’s customer support line at 543-0037.
Beulah Jonis, Managing Director of St. Maarten Cable TV stated, "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. Over the next few months, we will be making significant improvements to our network. Although there will be sporadic scheduled outages to allow us to upgrade the equipment, I am sure that our customers will be pleased with the improved quality of service."
