Management of Pelican Resort held a strike on Wednesday morning in connection with the laying off of 182 workers of the Resort.
The old company says it will cease operations as of Wednesday.
Chaos is taking place at Pelican as the workers were given letters informing them that their services were no longer needed and shouldn’t report to work.
They were relieved of their work, eventhough the Government Labour Department has not made a pronoucement on the company’s mass dismissal request, recently.
