Two young men both with the initials O.R. from Sint Maarten were arrested by detectives on Thursday November 25th at approximately 12.00 p.m., both suspected of robbing a crew member of a cruise ship in port on that day. The victim stated that while walking with another crew member in the Suckergarden area he was attacked and beaten by these two men and his gold chain was stolen from his neck. As a result of the beaten he suffered a hematoma to the left side of his face.
Based on the description the victim and witness gave to detectives the suspects in question were arrested. Both suspects are in custody for further investigation.
