On Saturday the SIMVA 2010 Volleyball competition continued:
In the women’s division Super Six met Nitro in a match that made the women’s play off position clear with one more match to go in the second round. Nitro won 3 sets to nil with partials as follows. 25-19, 25 -23 and 25-20. Nitro took advantage of Siper Six seemingly lack of coordination to solidify their second place position. On Monday the undeafeted Guess who will face United, who is still looking for their firts win, in the last match for the second round that will not affect the standings.
In the men’s division The first place United played the last placed Funmakers. United won in convincing manner three sets to zero with the partials being 25-15, 25-15 and 25-15. UNited took the opportunity to permit their second team to play in this match so more players got some playing time before they go into the play offs. United remains in first place and will play the fourth place positioned team in the best of three semifinals. Funmakers did not make the play offs. In the last match of the second round Babylons (4th will face Reptiles (2nd). This match willetermine who will be in third and fourth place.
Come out and support your favorite team when matches continue on Monday night at the L.B. Scot sports auditorium. Play off action will start on Wednesday.
