Although the agenda was a short one, we also spoke of continuing a similar cooperation arrangement after October 10th, the dismantlement of the Antilles. In that case, it would regard a cooperation arrangement between Aruba and the new countries Curaçao and St. Maarten. According to Premier Mike Eman (AVP), this morning one discussed what such an arrangement could consist of in the future; which points would be useful for cooperation or not, and that eventually one had to come up with a draft. "That draft will then be submitted to the parliaments of the three countries for discussion." Details on the continuance of the mutual services with regard to aviation, meteorological service and shipping industry were discussed once again. De Jongh-Elhage, "There are still many shared items, such as in the field of legislation". Eman states the agenda also included the joint action in international organizations, such as in Paho and in the European Union.
