Cultural activities organizer Shujah Reiph returned home recently from Canada where he met with cultural activists and organizations seeking new authors for the 9th annual St. Martin Book Fair in June 2011.
The St. Martin Book Fair coordinator was in Toronto as an invited guest at the Majlis summer nights of poetry, dance, and live music, and took the opportunity "to do some book fair work." Performing at the Majlis (café) was the poet Dr. Christian Campbell, reading from his new poetry book, Running the Dusk. Dr. Campbell was the guest speaker at the 8th annual St. Martin Book Fair closing ceremony.
