The Minister of Economic & Labour Affairs & The Commissioner of Public Health, Social Welfare & Labour, are hosting 3 days of informative sessions entitled ”Labour Laws & Constitutional Transition”.

The sessions started on February 24th 2010 and will end on February 26th 2010. Each day the sessions starts at 1 pm and ends at 5 pm and are being held at the Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort Hotel.
The 1st day of informative sessions was well attended.
The objectives of these sessions are:
- To provide information & general insight in the current national & international labour laws
- To inform stakeholders on preparations made to transfer labour related responsibilities to the Island Government of St.Maarten, due to the dismantling of the Netherlands Antilles.
