Thursday October 29th, in the morning at approximately 09.00 a.m. police and Detectives were directed to Raspberry road in Sint Peters for a shooting incident. On the scene the investigating officers encountered the victim with initials C.M. who was bleeding from wounds to his right lower-arm.
The victim stated, that while he was standing next to his car which is parked close to his home he was suddenly attacked by a man who he knows with initials D.B. and who was carrying a shotgun. A struggle between them took place at which time he was gunbutted to the back of his head. A shot was then fired at the victim by the suspect. The bullet struck the victim in his right arm causing quite some damage. After committing his act, the suspect took-off on foot. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and then transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for further treatment. After treatment the victim was admitted to the hospital for observation. The Forensic and Detectives Dept. are conducting their investigation to determine exactly what happend and why this shooting-incident took place.
