WILLEMSTAD — The expected increase of contaminations of the Mexican flu (Influenza A H1N1) due to the return of vacationers has remained at bay.
Until now, Curaçao has registered 39 confirmed cases. These and other cases, which were not tested positive, had all reacted positively to the Tamiflu-treatment and recovered completely. Until now, Bonaire has registered 29 cases, and St. Maarten has confirmed its 21st case of H1N1. St. Eustatius has only confirmed one case, while Saba has been spared this virus for the time being.
