One of the main objectives of the board that governs The Raoul Illidge Sports Complex (RISC) is to have the facilities cleaned and repaired by August 1, 2009 in order to better accommodate the many users of the facilities.
The board would like to take this opportunity to invite the general public and the users in particular to sign up to assist us in making St. Maarten’s most used sports complex a great place to be once more. Businesses are also encouraged to participate not only through contributions, but also by offering employees to assist with the clean up and repairs. On Saturday July 11, 2009, the first phase of the general clean up at the Raoul Illidge Sports Park (RISC) got off to a start.
On behalf of the Foundation for the Advancement of Development of the Public, Recreation and Sports – St. Maarten which governs the RISC, the President would like to thank all Board members for their support and active participation in the clean up activities at RISC on Saturday.
