The University of St. Martin (USM) played host to 45 St. Dominic High School 3rd form students on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. The students, escorted by Ms. Belzers and Ms. DeWeever, received information about USM and its programs as well as admissions requirements. The event was organized by the USM Admissions and Marketing Departments. USM Education Division Head Sharon Freiburg, Business Division Head Alain Deleu, Hospitality Program Coordinator Glen Yeung (in photo 1) also made presentations. Various USM students also spoke about their experiences in their respective programs. Special presentations were made by USM President Josianne Fleming-Artsen, Leona Richardson (General Liberal Arts, and Language Division Head Rhoda Arrindell. The aim of this event at USM is part of a campaign to familiarize high school students with the island’s tertiary institution.
