As of October 1, 2016 the Prosecutor’s Office Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, OM BES, will be doing its own external communication. Chief Prosecutor, Henry Hambeukers will remain responsible as spokesperson of OM BES for the content of all that will be communicated. Norman Serphos and Gino Bernadina will maintain in the future all external contacts and can also act as the spokesperson if applicable. The local media on Bonaire was briefed about this during a meeting with the press on Friday, September 23, 2016.
Mr. Serphos will be primarily charged with maintaining external contacts and possibly act as the spokesperson for the press on Bonaire. Up till now it was the Caribbean Netherlands National Government’s Office, RCN, that took care of the external communication for the OM BES. The OM BES is very grateful for this. The excellent relationship between OM BES and RCN will remain. If necessary OM BES can always make use of the services of RCN in the future
