Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association Men’s Senior Volleyball Championship held in St. Lucia

The 2010 ECVA (Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association) Men’s Senior Volleyball Championship concluded on Sunday Sepetember 27, 2010 in Roadtown,Tortola, BVI.

The tournament was played in honor of great pioneer for the OECS sports desk Joseph "Reds" Pereira. Eight countries participated in the tournament namely Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and BVI. The national selection won the tournament undefeated record in the finals on Sunda against Dominica 3 sets to 0. The scores were 25-16, 25-21 and 25-18.
In the Bronze medal match St. Kitts beat Antigua 3 to 1 with the partials being 20-25, 25-23, 25-22 and 27-25.

MVP of the tournament was St.Lucia number 12 Jason Octave whose jump service terrorised the opponents. he also received the best server award.

St. Maarten International Refereeand ECVA Referee Coordinator Reginald Willemsberg was at hand to coordinate the tournament and french St. Martin Mr. Albert Ogarro also was there as VIS (Volleyball Information System) Coordinator in regards to the statistic for the tournament.
