GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Parents who make use of baby wellness clinic services at the Madame Estate Clinic are hereby advised by Youth Health Care (YHC) that the aforementioned clinic is moving to the YHC offices at the Vineyard Office Park on W.G. Buncamper Road #33.
Parents and guardians and their children are welcome at this location as of February 28.
The Madame Estate Clinic will be closed as of February 21 to facilitate the move.
The closure of the Madame Estate Clinic is in connection with the integration of the Baby Clinic into YHC, a process that was approved by Government and went into effect on September 1st 2010.
The opening times and days remain the same and are as follows: 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Vineyard Office Complex at the offices of YHC: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and at the Cole Bay Clinic (located across from the Charles Leopold Bell School), only on Tuesdays during the same hours as mentioned before.
Parents of newborns and of young children are encouraged to make use of the baby wellness clinics in order to ensure that the growth of their child is in line with the respective age expectations and for them to receive their vaccinations at the appropriate age.
The nurses who worked in the Baby Clinic under the White & Yellow Cross banner continue to provide the same services free of charge to babies and toddlers under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Health, Section YHC.
