Commissioner Buncamper commends local entrepreneurs
Commissioner of Economic Affairs Maria Buncamper-Molanus, would like to congratulate Paule Webster, Jeannette Harrigan and Jeanesca Queely with their new venture of a Travel Agency on Back Street. JCâ??s Travel Agency opened last week Saturday at Back Street #111.
"I commend the ladies for taking the risks as professional business women. Some may say, but why start a new business at this point in time when the world economy is experiencing severe challenges? As governmentâ??s role is to create the environment conducive to generating economic activity, doing business comes down to taking a calculated risk and going with your gut feeling.
"These women have demonstrated the drive and determination to make it work and provide a service to the community. They also have confidence in the nationâ??s economy and are committed in what they are doing. Congratulations and much success with this business undertaking," Commissioner of Economic Affairs Maria Buncamper-Molanus told the Government Information Service.
