Executive Council receives new CofC phone book
On Tuesday, the Executive Council was presented with the first Chamber of Commerce business directory by Public Relations Officer Cornelius de Weever and board member Arthuro Bute.
The Acting Lt. Gov, Millicent Acuna-Lopez de Weever and Commissioners Sarah Wescot-Williams, Theo Heyliger, and Louie Laveist were present to accept the business directory.
Commissioner Heyliger said that the business directory was a useful tool and that it will be much utilized by not only the community of St. Maarten but also abroad with the intention of generating business activity.
According to de Weever, "The business directory can and will be used as a source of information for companies and individuals doing business in St. Maarten."
De Weever further stated "I asked the Executive Council to accept the Chamberâ??s business directory as a token of our confidence in the economy and our commitment to country St. Maarten."
The Business Directory will be mailed and/or delivered to other Chambers of Commerce in the region as well as internationally to serve as a resource to potential investors.
