On Saturday, the 30 th of August, a large-scale traffic check was conducted on Dr. H.A. Korthalsweg
and Theodore A.M. Pandt Road on Sint Eustatius, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands
Marechaussee and Customs. The purpose of the check was to raise awareness among drivers about
road safety.
During this check, approximately 30 vehicles were checked. One scooter was taken to the police
station and one weapon (a knuckle duster) was confiscated.
