off the ground. Not because they fall short, but because they don’t fit within the rigid
frameworks of the current funding system. They feel too risky to submit or too
uncertain to meet evaluators’ expectations. From the outside, these often remain
invisible. Are you a climate researcher in the broadest sense of the word, with
experience in public funding and its limitations?
This is an invitation to think big and embrace uncertainty. The goal is to gather
valuable insights for investors and research institutions, so that together we can
reconsider how we enable and support diverse forms of climate research – with
room for the unpredictable, the collective, and the truly transformative.
