Antilles business partner no. 32 of Miami

The business with Brazil is valued at 13.2 billion dollars, followed by Venezuela with 6.4 billion. The rest of the top-ten consecutively consist of Columbia, China, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Costa Rica, Chili, Peru and Argentine. The Netherlands figured at 19th with an amount of 1.5 billion for import and export.
The figures are a publication from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties in Florida. Where Aruba had encountered a 3-percent trade drop in 2008 with the largest city of Florida, the Antilles had registered a growth of 20.9 percent over that year compared to 2007.
The trade with Venezuela also shows an increase worth 1 billion dollars. Ninety percent of Miami’s import from Venezuela regards oil-related products, especially petrol.
