Pamela Bernard winner of Kooyman’s Customer Appreciation Campaign

 

On Wednesday November 25th 2009, Kooyman announced the winner of its Customer Appreciation Campaign: Pamela Bernard. After weeks of campaigning and more than 1800 votes received, Ms. Pamela Bernard was elected as Best Service Provider by the customers of the hardware and home improvement store on the island with a total of 282 fans amongst the Saint Martin public.

As part of Kooyman’s 70 Years anniversary celebrations, the Kooyman marketing team developed this motivational campaign. Kooyman involved the customer in the selection process for the store employee who gives the best service. Service is very important to Kooyman and with greatly valued input from our customers the standards for these can be set. Kooyman motivates and stimulates their human capital with various job trainings, product knowledge workshops and on the job service training.

The Customer Appreciation Campaign started in the first week of November and its exciting finale was a week of voting which ended on Saturday November 22nd.

The Customer Appreciation Campaign was run on all four Kooyman islands, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao and Saint Martin. The involvement of the Kooyman customer with this campaign was overwhelming: in total more than 10.000 votes where cast (this amounts to approx. 3 % of the total population of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba). Each island has its own winner and one of the voters of this Kooyman employee has also been rewarded with a gift voucher of NAf. 500, – . The winning customer is Mr. Carlson B. Velasquez.
