Behind good pitching of Jairo Jabalera and Luis Castillo the St. Martin Pony League team Mets Access
defeated the Stars 3 – 0 after the game was in a pitching duel between the pitcher of the Mets , Jairo
and the Rene of the Stars.
Both pitchers up to the seventh inning was pitching a scoreless game until
when in the eight inning the pitcher tossed the ball to third for an error and whereby Mets scored two
runs. Just two pitches after it was Pocho Reyes that scored the third run on a pass ball of the catcher.
Luis Castillo then went to the mound the consolidate the victory for the Mets by striking out all the
following batters to the end of the inning and a victory for Mets. Former Chicago Cubs Scout and member
of the Puerto Rico Baseball High School Mr. Ramsel Correa attended the game as special guest of the Mets
as to set up a training program together with Mr. Hendrick Sanchez "Cubano"and Mr. Edwin Correa of
Puerto Rico Baseball High School.
