TelEm Group management and personnel met in emergency session Sunday to review the company’s hurricane plans with reports on inclement weather this week.
As of last night the company informed that its offices will be open as normal Monday morning upon news that Tropical Storm Ana had been downgraded to a tropical depression.
Hurricane Committee Chairman Leonardo Bromet says the attention of the company and personnel will be monitoring a second weather system in the area that is predicted to become a category 2 or category 3 hurricane in the coming days.
He said although the hurricane is expected to pass north of the islands by Thursday, it is still early to call, therefore all preparations are being made and personnel put on the ready.
The public will be notified of any change in business hours as a result of hurricane Bill.
