On Sunday morning, August 2nd at the Princess Juliana International Airport, two kingdom games athletes—Emmy Fraenk and Jonathan Samuel—returned to St. Maarten after taking part in the Kingdom games in Aruba.
Fraenk won 3 gold medals: 400 Meters, 4 x 100 Relay race, and the Medley; while Samuel won a Silver medal in his weight class of 60 kilos, just under the middle class category, in Tae-Kwon-Do.
The commissioner of Sports, Frans Richardson, who sent his regret for not being able to be present,sent his Liaison Officer for Sports, Althea Richardson to say a few words of encouragement and congratulations on his behalf.
