Nearly 7,000 cruise ship passengers visited St. Kitts on Monday 21st January on three vessels that docked in Basseterre.
Five cruise ships are scheduled to visit tomorrow (Tuesday) bringing an estimated 9,000 passengers.
On Monday the 2,450- passenger Celebrity Summit arrived from St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands with 2,106 passengers and a crew of 1193.
The 3,100-passenger Azura arrived from St. Maarten with 2,977 passengers and a crew of 1193.
The 1,975 passenger Oriana arrived from Barbados with 1,720 passengers and a crew of 786.
Most of the 6,803 passengers came ashore and went on sight-seeing tours in Basseterre and island wide via the St. Kitts Scenic Railway, buses or taxis.
The five ships scheduled for tomorrow are the 1,506 passenger Thomson Dream; the 3,114-passenger Adventure of the Seas; the 4,370-passenger Independence of the Seas; the 255-passenger Royal Clipper and the 67-passenger Le Ponant.
