The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams, in collaboration with the St. Maarten HIV/ AIDS Program team will be hosting a special Zumba Me Red Session in front of the Government Administration Building on Friday November 30th at 17:15.
The special Zumba session will be held in order to commemorate World Aids Day, celebrated globally on the 1st of December 2012. "I invite not only civil servants but all within the community to celebrate with fitness World Aids Day. Let us raise awareness, celebrate our success and remember the victims of the AIDS epidemic through this very special Zumba session" commented the Prime Minister.
Friday’s Zumba Session will have a red dress code in solidarity for those infected with HIV/ AIDS and commemorating World AIDS Day. The event is a part of the Prime Minister’s U 2 Can Move health initiative which has featured weekly Zumba, ecological hikes, historic walks and numerous walk-a-thons.
